In 2010, frustrated by many of the media headlines and negative coverage of Catholicism, Caroline began a blog in defence of Catholic teaching and to reflect on UK current affairs and world events through the lens of a Catholic woman. What began as nothing more than personal musings designed to explain and propose controversial ethics and life issues to those who had struggled with them, or to de-bunk misleading narratives and headlines, soon mushroomed and popular posts would receive more than 30,000 unique visitors a day.Between 2011 and 2017, she was a member of the organisation Catholic Voices, set up to promote the defence of Catholic teaching in the public square and made numerous media interventions on their behalf and quickly became the 'go to' voice for media organisations looking to represent a female conservative Catholic point of view.Since 2013 Caroline has written a weekly column for the Catholic Universe and written for and featured in a number of other publications such as the Catholic Herald, the National Catholic Register, the Conservative Woman, Mercatornet, Crisis Magazine, LifeSiteNews and Church Militant. She used to write on Catholic culture at the now defunct Spectator Arts blog and has been featured in the Daily Mail, the Observer and the New Statesman.In 2013, Caroline was included as part of the first cohort of the BBC's '100 women' and she regularly features on BBC News, Sky News, ITV's Good Morning Britain, BBC Sunday Morning Live, the Big Questions and has made multiple appearances on Radio 4's flagship programmes Today programme, Woman's Hour, the Moral Maze and the Sunday programme as well as featuring in one-off documentaries. Caroline also presented the coverage for March for Life UK for EWTN and has contributed to News Nightly and Celtic Connections. She also frequently contributes to Talk Radio, LBC and BBC local radio as well as BBC Radio Ulster, discussing matters pertaining to Catholicism, feminism and the challenges of motherhood and family life.Caroline has an eclectic career background. She began her professional life as a student accountant for a big 5 firm before succumbing to a desire for travel and adventure and became a member of cabin crew working both long and short-haul routes for internationally acclaimed airlines. Lt Col Tony Shaffer - Does the Mandated Pfizer Vaccine Degrade US Military Capability?

It is an honour to have Lt Col Tony Shaffer (ret'd) join Hearts of Oak to look at the impact of mandatory Pfizer vaccines on the military community. Mandatory vaccines are being rolled out in many countries for some or all employers and the military are part of that in the US and in other countries. Tony is the President of The London Centre for Police Research, and they have just published a fantastically researched paper on this, looking at whether mRNA vaccines are likely to decrease US Special Forces Operations and Intelligence Force readiness. This is an issue that could affect all of us very soon and this interview is focusing on the military and asking some hard questions that collide directly with Biden's vaccine mandates.Have a read of the paper yourself at https://londoncenter.org/BNT1262Paper 
LtCol Anthony (Tony) Shaffer (retired), is the President of the London Center for Policy Research, a New York Times bestselling author and CIA trained intelligence operations officer with 35 years of experience in global and national security. In his think-tank work he is an advisor to senior members of the White House, the Intelligence Community, Pentagon and key members of Congress.  He also works with National Geographic as an Advising Producer and Co-Producer of the series “Chain of Command”. In 2017 he became the Homeland Security Advisor to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department in Virginia and works as its member of the NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau’s expanded task force.  As a senior DoD intelligence officer, he received the Bronze Star and the Commander’s Award for Civil Service for his work on cutting edge, highly classified, DoD special activities.  He has detailed operational and policy expertise regarding the full spectrum of strategic national security issues; from being a pioneer in cyber operations, to being at cutting edge of U.S. counterterrorism efforts and helping develop and use of “weaponized technology”. 
 Tony has commanded and directed several key operational intelligence organizations that conducted “compartmented” (aka black) operations. These include Special Mission Task Force STRATUS IVY, that conducted direct support to DoD compartmented activities (OSD, SOCOM, JSOC, Army) which was focused on offensive information operations. In addition, he commanded Field Operating Base (FOB) Alpha, a joint DIA/CIA unit conducting classified collection and special operations support regarding terrorists just after the 9/11 attacks.
As the President of the London Center for Policy Research (LCPR) he leads the think tank community in research on the key policy issues of our time: national security, energy, and risk analysis. Tony manages the mission of the Center to challenge conventional wisdom where appropriate, add texture to the current deliberations on policy issues and build support for positions that further the national interest and the interest of key allies.

Jannique Stewart - Critical Race Theory: The Left‘s Race Baiting Experiment That Is Destroying Our Society

This episode we welcome back Jannique Stewart from Life Training Institute to discuss Critical Race Theory. The starting point of a conversation on Critical Race Theory is that white is bad and must be removed. Jannique has been addressing this issue since it appeared and joins us to help us grasp what it is and what the implications are for those who adopt this mindset.Jannique Stewart was born and raised in Europe and after her family moved to the United States for her high school years, she competed for an Illinois State Title in a National Pageant and chose two issues that she felt most passionate about: Abortion and the sexualization of teens. After winning her first title at the age of 15, Jannique began speaking in schools and churches on topics including Raising up a Pro-life Generation and Sexual Integrity—The New Sex Revolution, after graduating from Greenville Liberal Arts College, she entered the field of Pharmaceuticals and quickly rose up the corporate ladder to the position of Corporate Sales Training Manager, although she loved her job, she felt restless—she felt a passion to return to her first love: Speaking out for those who can’t speak for themselves. She left the pharmaceutical industry in 2005 and has never looked back, she joined First Care Family Resources, the leading Crisis Pregnancy Centers in South Florida in 2005 as a ‘sexual purity’ speaker and educator for their Prevention Department. In 2010, Jannique became the Center Director for First Care’s Boca Raton Pregnancy Care Center, leading a team of women to provide counseling and ultrasounds to women faced with unplanned pregnancies and financial hardship.She founded Love Protects in 2011, a ministry focused on biblical sexuality. Tonight it is wonderful to have my good friend Scott Klusendorf join Hearts of Oak to discuss the political divide on the most contentious issue of all, abortion. The latest legal ruling in Texas allows an abortion when no heartbeat is detected, which usually occurs around 6 weeks, but the Democrats are desperate to remove this restriction. What is it about ending the life of another human being that gets the left so excited? Scott is the founder and President of Life Training Institute and is without a doubt the best pro life speaker I have come across and someone you do not want to miss. Scott Klusendorf is the President of Life Training Institute and he travels throughout the United States and Canada training pro-life advocates to persuasively defend their views in the public square. He contends that the pro-life message can compete in the marketplace of ideas if properly understood and properly articulated. A passionate and engaging speaker, Scott has appeared on numerous nationally syndicated Christian programs and has participated in numerous debates at the collegiate level.
