Scott Klusendorf - Why Does the Left Love Abortion so Much?

Tonight it is wonderful to have my good friend Scott Klusendorf join Hearts of Oak to discuss the political divide on the most contentious issue of all, abortion. The latest legal ruling in Texas allows an abortion when no heartbeat is detected, which usually occurs around 6 weeks, but the Democrats are desperate to remove this restriction. What is it about ending the life of another human being that gets the left so excited? Scott is the founder and President of Life Training Institute and is without a doubt the best pro life speaker I have come across and someone you do not want to miss. Scott Klusendorf is the President of Life Training Institute and he travels throughout the United States and Canada training pro-life advocates to persuasively defend their views in the public square. He contends that the pro-life message can compete in the marketplace of ideas if properly understood and properly articulated. A passionate and engaging speaker, Scott has appeared on numerous nationally syndicated Christian programs and has participated in numerous debates at the collegiate level. Scott has debated or lectured to student groups at over 80 colleges and universities, including Stanford, USC, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, Loyola Marymount Law School, West Virginia Medical School, MIT, U.S. Air Force Academy, Cal-Tech, UC Berkeley, and University of North Carolina. Hearts of Oak are honoured to have Dr Bill Warner join us to talk about the issues surrounding discussion on Islam. Not only do we have censorship of a full and frank discussion on its history, teachings and on the life of Muhammad, we are also facing another challenge. There is a desire to engage with Islam, but this information needs to lead to action. Yet our society has become paralysed through fear. We have increasing numbers now realising that it is not a religion of peace yet this enlightenment of the teachings and practices of Islam also makes people more cautious in opposing and speaking out against this ideology. The truth is so different to the traditional narrative that we are fed, educated individuals are flocking to safety by remaining silent lest they end up themselves in the crosshairs. It is time for action...... this is Bill’s message to us all. Dr. Bill Warner is a prominent and highly respected expert on Political Islam. He holds a PhD in Physics & Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University. He has held positions as a research scientist, business owner and University Professor. Dr. Warner has had a life-long interest in religion and its effects on history. He has studied the source texts of the major religions for decades. Even before the destruction of the World Trade Center he had predicted the war between Islam and America. The day after 9/11 he decided to make the source texts of Islam available for the average person. His training in scientific theory and mathematics shaped how he analyzed Islamic doctrine. Realizing that the Islamic texts had been made deliberately difficult to read and comprehend, he set out to organize the doctrine in a manner that would be easily understood by the average person. As he analyzed the foundational Islamic texts, it became clear that Islam is not constructed on the same civilizational principles as the rest of the world. Simple statistical methods revealed that dualism and submission were the foundational principles of Islamic doctrine. Dr. Warner founded the Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI) to further the study of political Islam and its ramifications for Western Civilization.
